Dougal and Howard part 1
Ha, look at this... I found this silly script I wrote a year and a half or so ago, about two over-the-hill detectives in the 1940s faced with the prospect of being fired. It made me laugh upon reading it again, so I drew the first page into a comic for fun... Just dodgily. I think I'll do the rest though. Hehe.

some more watercolours
I just did these ones then, with pencils. But I took a couple of pencils and ground the lead off with a sharpener onto a container lid, instead of using the actual pencils. I think I like that way more, although next time I won't use a transparent lid to mix my colours on...
The mountains from Grandma's veranda. I started this up at her place, just putting the basic shapes in with the pencils, and decided to add detail and water just before.
And a purple farmer.

Grandma's Shed
I spent a few days at my grandmas, and stole her watercolour paints for a bit to try them. I painted her shed, with her super old awesome tractor that sounds awesome and still works fine. I'm quite proud of it, despite its amateur air, since it's my first REAL watercolour painting.
Also, 'plod' is a funny word. I intend to use it more often.

Smile!
Well my guitar finally has 6 strings again, so I've been getting back into The Beach Boys to learn some more of those wonderful progressions. I watched 'Beautiful Dreamer' for the tenth time today, the doco about Brian the making of SMiLE, so I did some sketches of him. There is an old boney Brian, a stretch faced Brian, and a slightly more accurate Brian. The only one I'm really happy with is the profile of him as an old man. Anywho, I think my next watercolour adventure will have something to do with Brian Wilson.
